Directions
From HIghway A-1 (Either North or South) take the exit labeled Firenze-Impruneta. If you’re coming from the direction of Siena, at the end of the higway junction Siena-Firenze, take the roundabout next to the Exit labeled Firenze-Impruneta.
At the Roundabout at the entrance/exit of the highway Firenze-Impruneta, follow the directions for the CIty Center, always straight ahead through Via Senese for about 4,3km, then take the right and enter into Via del Gelsomino and onward for other 800mtrs. At the second Traffic light, turn left in Via Poggio Imperiale until you arrive at Piazzale Porta Romana. From there, take the fifth exit of the roundaboutand enter into Viale Francesco Petrarca. Forward for 900 mtrs, and at the traffic light turn right into Viale Ludovico Ariosto, until you arrive at Porta San Frediano. Turn right into Borgo San Frediano, and after 50 mtrs turn right again into Via San Giovanni. Turn right again into Via dell’Orto and after 50 mtrs, at number 13 the entrance to our Hotel. Please be mindful that our entrance allows entry to cars of a maximum width of 230cm.
Warning about Traffic Restricted Zone (ZTL)
We’d like to inform our guests, that Hotel Horto Convento is located inside the Historical City Center of Florence, but just outside the Traffic Restricted Zone (ZTL), as marked by the Access points similar to traffic lights accessible only by residents. It’s possible to reach the Hotel and avoid passing under said access points, our staff is at your disposal for any question that may arise and should you be in need of help.
Parking
The hotel has private parking with limited spots inside its own courtyard and has a cost of Euro 25,00 per day for cars and Euro 15,00 per day for motos. The entrance is through the main gate (maximum width 230 cm) located in Viale Ludovico Ariosto, 13 (corner with Via dell’Orto). Reservation is not required. If our internal parking is full at the moment of check-in, it will be possible to park the car in private garages (outside the restricted traffic area ZTL) near the hotel with discounted rates.
